Backed by burgeoning middle class, cost competitiveness, rising income levels, India is witnessing exciting times. Once labeled as a “Sleeping Giant”, Indian economy is now a roaring tiger in the world arena. Indian economy is amongst the fastest growing economies in the world and is likely to achieve average growth rate of 8.2 percent during the Eleventh Plan (2007-12) period.

Keeping pace with the growing Indian economy, Egis India, too has been growing at 50 percent year on year basis since its inception in Y2005, operating in various infrastructure sectors,  roads, rail, water, structures, buildings and airports.

Early this year (Y2011), Egis India expanded inorganically by merging Group SCE India (GSI) with its relatively young department of Regional & Urban Planning.  GSI is a trusted name not only in India but across the globe when it comes to providing GIS solutions to Master Planning and Infrastructure Engineering. GSI is amongst the few companies offering full-fledged GIS solutions across various infrastructure sectors in India. The capabilities of GSI would considerably enhance the quality of services being offered across the board by Egis to its clients. The combined capabilities of Egis India and GSI would position Egis India as complete solution provider in Urban Infrastructure space to its clients.

Last but not the least, Egis Group has 12000 staff working in more than 100 countries on over 250 assignments. This enables Egis India to apply the learnings from these projects into Indian context by suitably modifying them, where needed. This gives Egis India unique advantage over its competitors.

Our constant endeavor is not only to maintain high quality standards but to set new high standards for others to follow. Egis India has ambitious growth plans, vision and capability to become a preferred solution provider to our customers in Urban Infrastructure space and achieve market leadership by being a customer-centric organization.
